Fort Worth, Texas - TCU Head Football Coach Gary Patterson will be making an appearance at Hulen Mall on Saturday, August 7 beginning at 1:30 p.m. to sign autographs and talk with Horned Frog football fans. ESPN Radio's Brian Estridge will broadcast the event live and the TCU cheerleaders, the Showgirls and SuperFrog will be present for autographs and pictures at the event. TCU ticket personnel will also be available to take ticket orders for the upcoming season and fans will have the opportunity to pick up official TCU Football posters and "GO FROGS" bumper stickers at the event. Patterson, one of the rising stars in the collegiate coaching ranks, has led the Frogs to a 27-11 record in three seasons in Fort Worth. Under his guidance, TCU Football has finished ranked among the top-25 team in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 1950's. This includes two straight 10-win seasons and three consecutive bowl games. In 2003, Patterson led the Frogs to a 10-0 start and climbed to as high as sixth in the BCS standings, the highest ranking ever for a non-BCS school. TCU finished the season with an 11-2 record and Patterson was a finalist for the Eddie Robinson and Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year honors. TCU will kickoff the 2004 season on Sept. 2 at Amon G. Carter Stadium against Northwestern at 8:30 p.m.
