
TCU Men's Soccer Falls to Charlotte 2-0

FORT WORTH, Texas - The Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team blanked TCU, 2-0, in Conference USA men's soccer action Saturday, at Transamerica Field in Charlotte.
Justin Durst took goalkeeper duty, recording seven saves in 90 minutes. TCU tallied 10 shots on the evening, three coming from senior forward Michael Blackburn.
The 49ers scored their first goal when Floyd Franks scored off a Tim Flavin assist in the 61st minute. The 49ers scored their final goal when Chris Wargin scored off a Franks assist in the 88th minute.
TCU falls to 2-10 on the season and 1-3 in Conference USA.
Next up for the Frogs is a home match against UAB on Wednesday Oct. 16 at Garvey Rosenthal Stadium beginning at 3:00 p.m.
