TCU Drops Final OSU Showcase Match to Missouri, 3-1

CORVALLIS, Ore. (Sept. 4) -- TCU concluded its Oregon State Volleyball Showcase appearance with a 3-1 (12-15, 4-15, 15-11, 9-15) loss at the hands of Missouri. TCU, who lost all four matches in the tournament, drops to 1-4 on the season. Missouri improves to 2-1.
The Frogs struggled throughout the match. One bright spot came from freshman Stephanie Watson (Denton, Texas/Denton HS). Watson recorded a career high 22 kills to lead TCU and hit .304.
TCU returns to action Wednesday night with its first home match of the season. The Frogs take on Baylor at the Rickel Center at 7 p.m.
