Frogs Drop WAC Volleyball Match to SMU, 3-0

DALLAS, Texas (Nov. 6) - Three SMU players topped double figures in kills as SMU (17-10, 6-2 WAC) defeated TCU (8-15, 2-6 WAC) ending the Horned Frogs two-match road winning streak. SMU topped TCU, 3-0 (15-12, 15-10, 15-6).
Despite nine team blocks from TCU, the Mustangs rallied around a game-high 18 kill outing from Erin Pryor, a 16 kill effort from Melissa Godwin and a 12 kill performance from Kelly Klecka. TCU's top performance was from senior outside hitter Jill Pape (San Antonio, Texas/East Central HS) with 14. SMU setter Leslie Olson added 59 assists for the victors.
The Horned Frogs continue their season with a match on Tuesday, Nov. 9. TCU visits Texas-Arlington at 7 p.m. at Texas Hall.
