Prior to the beginning of the 2000 season - the Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium was completed on the ever-expanding campus of TCU. The home field of the TCU women's soccer team is more than a state-of-the-art venue - it is a tangible indicator of the support and dedication that TCU shows a sport that grows more popular in the United States every year as well as ranks as the world's number-one sport.

The Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium boasts 1,500 seats and features both playing and workout spaces, a press box, ample parking and storage. A covered porch overlooking the field allows fans of the Purple and White to host parties as well as youth teams. In the Spring of 2006 - the Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium received another lift with the addition of lights to the stadium allowing the Frogs to play night games at home for the first time in school history. The four poles providing 50-foot candles of power that cover the field of play as well as the practice field. In addition - the Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium recently added a new LED scoreboard.

The construction of the home field for the TCU women's soccer team would not have been possibly had it not been for the dedication of Manny and Rosalyn Rosenthal - who donated $300,000 to the project - and James, Shirley and Richard Garvey and the Garvey Texas Foundation - who donated $250,000 for the program.

"TCU asked us to make this gift, and we were happy to do so because the soccer stadium is a great enhancement to the school. We hope it will help TCU develop a name in the soccer community," said Rosalyn Rosenthal at the time of the dedication ceremony.

"I went to TCU, and my family has supported the program since 1978. We love the school. We love the program, and we love everything that TCU stands for," said Richard Garvey - who helped allow the first steps of construction, resodding of the field and moving the scoreboard to the new site possible.
